Omo Onile Activities Lead To The Death Of A 13 Year Old In Ogun State

I just read a painful account now of a 13 year old boy that was crushed to death in Magboro by a heavy duty vehicle that was trying to avoid Omo Oniles that extort money from heavy duty vehicles.

I think what worries me the most is how the mainstream media is silent about this matter.

A 13 year old is dead yet there is no outrage?

Michael Odejimi was the only son of his parents.

Ogun State government needs to check the activities of these Omo Onile before it becomes unbearable.

Here’s the link to the story.

What exactly is the “economic importance” of Omo Onile? If they are really important, how do we manage their activities in a manner that protects lives and properties?

Please share your thoughts.
